Ryan Gosling to Produce New Project Under General Admission Banner

Ryan Gosling is set to produce a new feature film alongside Jessie Henderson, his partner at General Admission, the production company the duo launched earlier this year. The project, which will be part of the company’s first-look deal with Amazon, is based on an unpublished short story written by twins Adam and Daniel Cooper.

The Cooper Twins, known for their work in directing and editing marketing content and trailers for major studios like Disney, Warner Brothers, Netflix, and Apple, penned a 42-page short story that will serve as the basis for the new film. They will also adapt the script themselves. Although specific plot details are being kept under wraps, the story is described as taking place in a “post-post-apocalyptic” world where former zombies struggle to reintegrate into society. The project began circulating in the market earlier this month.

Currently, Gosling is not attached to star in the film, and no director has been named yet. The Oscar-nominated actor recently wrapped up shooting for Universal's "The Fall Guy" and is set to start filming "Project Hail Mary" for Amazon MGM, directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

The Cooper Twins have built a reputation in the industry through their short films, which have been showcased at various festivals. Their impressive portfolio in marketing content and trailer editing has earned them prestigious accolades, including Clios and Golden Trailer Awards. They are represented by CAA, Aaron Folbe, and Paul Hastings.

This new project marks another exciting venture for Gosling and Henderson’s General Admission, pr omising to bring a unique and intriguing narrative to the screen under their innovative production banner.
